Questions:

1. Can this technology help Indian farmers with practical implication by 2022? Justify with Pros
and Cons.
2. Would this prove to revamp land prices in India esp. Agricultural land prices? Explain briefly?
3. Can IIM Rohtak develop a working model on the same by 2018 with the help of external aid
like engineers and technology knowhow from other institutions? Discuss in brief the project

terms of innovation. The same is portrayed with the launch of Apple IOs 10. What all

Topic 7: Big data analytics


Questions –
1. How is Big data likely to benefit the non-tech companies. Explain with specific examples.
(like FMCG, food processing etc.)
2. How can Indian educational institutes (IIMs mainly) benefits from emerging technologies like
to Big data? Should big data analytics be taught as part of curriculum in colleges?
3. ITernity Club @IIMRohtak would like to conduct sessions on Big Data that will be helpful for
the students at IIM Rohtak. Create a plan for it, with solid reasoning for inclusion of each of
the topics in the session plan.

Topic 8: BPS vs BPM


Questions –

1. What factors differentiate BPS, BPO and BPM? IS there any difference?
2. What are the likely changes to be seen with the growth of BPM in India? Will there be a shift
in the momentum with respect to BPO industry, which has been losing its pace for the past
few years?
3. Which one do you think is higher up the value chain?
