The general form of the movement is a small sonata-concerto form.

The piece starts with an orchestral introduction in the home key and is followed by the
exposition. The exposition starts with first theme, very short, played by the soloist, followed by
a transition, which leads for the second theme, in the relative major key, F major.

The second group theme is much bigger then the previous one, composed of two parts, both
remaining in the key of F major.

After a perfect authentic cadence that finishes the second group theme and also the
exposition, the development begins.

The orchestra plays the first part of the development and then the main part is played by the
soloist. The development uses many of the motives used in the exposition, like: adsfadsfa.

Although it is a development, it does not go to different harmonies, it just remains in F major.

The last part is a transition that comes back to the key of D minor for the recapitulation.
