INTRODUCTION

Background of the Study

Raising pigs is a very popular enterprise in the Philippines because there is

a proliferation of backyard producers which dominate the swine industry and a

healthy viable commercial sector. Despite the crises facing the swine industry,

still many people are venturing in this enterprise.

The increases in hog population have created and exacerbated various

environmental, health and other problems. In the Philippines, what is ironic is

that while hog output and operation is preponderantly backyard and the bulk of

waste is generated in pig farms, current regulations and instruments seem

virtually unable to influence backyard operators to undertake pollution mitigating

activities.

To solve this problem, the proponent would like to venture

The proponent of this study would like to conduct research on how

feasible is the water refilling station in the Municipality of Jordan. In the course

of this study, the proponent aims to discover and compare marketing strategies

employed by this water refilling stations.

The study focuses on the processes and the water refilling stations

implements to purify the water from the local source. The proponent would like

to find out how feasible is this business since now a days, the demand for

cleaner water becomes higher, the price of household water purifiers and bottled

water has become prohibitive.

CHAPTER II

MARKETING ASPECT

Marketing is the process of perceiving, understanding, stimulating and

satisfying the customer needs, wants and expectations through the services of

specially selected target market which is better than competitors. Marketing

aspect of the feasibility study is important in order to determine the extent to

which the services are needed and to design the appropriate marketing

strategies and plans that will help ensure that the project’s outputs will reach

Buen Aqua will hire additional employee to do the operation of the

business. This will provide job opportunities to the unemployed and allowing

them also to enhance their skills and knowledge related to the job.
