Construction Tips
How to Use the Patterns: To use the patterns in

Belt
1. Cut six 32-inch lengths of brown pearl cotton.
Measure 6 inches from one end and tie strands
together into a knot.
2. Divide strands into three sets of 2 strands each
and braid these sets together for 11 inches. Knot
end to hold.
3. String three beads onto each 2-strand set on
each end.
Tip
When braiding the skirt belt, pinning the knot
to a sturdy surface helps hold it in place
while braiding.

1. Sew bodice fronts to back at shoulder seams.
