Aim
To install Acronis V11.5 Image Backup software.

Preconditions for starting the Works

 Acronis License needs to be available. Create a text file with just license number as
the text (include the hyphens).
 Acronis setup file should be available either on a CD or DVD.

Installing Acronis

Step 1: First, open the directory where the setup file is available. Run the .exe. setup file and
you will get a menu like shown below

Step 2: Choose the second option. ‘Install Backup & Recovery 11.5’. Pop-up menu will appear.

Step 3: Check the box to accept terms & conditions. Click Next.

Step 4: Select the three boxes shown checked above. A menu showing additional options will
appear. Select as shown below and click next.

Step 5: Import the text file created earlier using the steps shown below.

Step 6: Once license is imported, click Finish.

Step 7: Define the installation path as shown (default selection). Select Next.

Step 8: Keep settings as shown. Click Next.

Creating Windows AIK CD

This step should be completed in the office where internet access is available. This CD only needs to be
created once and can be used for installation on all the PCs then after.

Step 1: Visit the following link: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=10333

Step 2: Download the Window Automated Installation Kit

It will download as an image (.img) file.

Step 3: Run the image file to create the CD

Install Windows AIK CD

Step 1: Run the setup file found in the Windows AIK CD

Step 2: Follow the prompts given to complete the installation.

Acronis installation is now complete.
