Epilepsy Warning
Please read this caution before you or your child play a videogame:
Certain people are susceptible to epileptic seizures or lose consciousness after exposure to flashing lights or
light patterns in our daily environment. Such people may have a seizure while watching particular televised
images or when they play some videogames. This phenomenon may appear even if the subject has no history
of previous difficulties. If you or a member of your family has ever had symptoms related to epilepsy (seizures or
loss of awareness) when exposed to flashing lights, please consult your doctor prior to use. We advise that parents
supervise the use of videogames by their children. If you or your child experiences any of the following symptoms
while playing a videogame: dizziness, blurred vision, eye or muscle twitches, loss of awareness, disorientation,
any involuntary movement or convulsion, IMMEDIATELY discontinue use and consult your doctor. BACKGROUND STORY.................................................4 Systems...............................................................13

Every ship system needs energy to function, with the exception of power cores. Power cores produce energy for all
other systems so it can be said the power core is likely the most important single ship system. If your installed ship
systems need more energy than your installed power core produces, you will not be able to leave the station.

A very important thing to remember is sub-targeting. To maximize efficiency, focus on certain ship systems on

that on his own. He is only concerned with hitting the target in any way possible. That usually means most of

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
There are several things you should have in mind concerning this part of the gameplay. Becoming familiar with
these sections will make it a lot simpler to get “in the game”.
Boarding master - Trooper strength increased by 15%

EXPERIENCE, LEVELS AND RANKS

You gain experience by solving quests, both side and main, but it is very important to know that Mercantile - Sell price increased and buy price decreased by 10%
that is only a part of it. Almost every action you do in the game grants you some experience.
Destroying ships, researching anomalies, repairing satellites, salvaging equipment from derelict vessels and
even using maneuvers all grant some experience as a reward. TDrive expert - T-Drive activation and energy cost decreased by 10%

Increasing experience eventually leads to promotions. Every five levels up to level 30, you gain a new Rank.
That gives you an additional maneuver point to distribute, but more importantly it grants you a Perk.
Evader - Evasion increased by 15%
Perks are special passive bonuses. There are 18 perks to choose from, but choose carefully. You cannot have all
perks with a single character profile. You can only choose some of them. After level 30, you only increase levels
(up to level 70) and gain maneuver points, but no more promotions or perks. To receive a promotion, you must
dock on any station after you’ve fulfilled the requirements for the promotion (character level). Weapons master - Accuracy increased by 10%

Energy efficiency - Maneuvers cost 10% less Energy Space wolf - EMP and Radiation resistance increased by 15%

Weapons efficiency - Weapons reload is 10% faster Luck - Improves Evasion, Accuracy and defense against Critical hits by 5%

Shields efficiency - Shields recharge is 10% faster Beam acc. expert - Increased damage of Beam weapons by 10%

Sensors efficiency - Sensor radius increased by 15% Railguns expert - Increased damage of Railguns by 10%

Navigation - Maneuverability and speed increased by 10% Plasma cannons expert - Increased damage of Plasma cannons by 10%

Shockwave gen. expert - Increased damage of Shockwave gen. by 10%

Missiles expert - Increased damage of Missiles by 10%

Fusion torp. expert - Increased damage of Fusion torp. by 10%

MANEUVERS
Every time you gain a level, you also gain a free maneuver point. You can distribute these points on various
available maneuvers. This is done through the Captain Information panel. First tier maneuver costs 1 point to
upgrade, second tier costs 2 and third costs 3 points. So altogether, you need to spend 6 points to upgrade a Calibrate beam acc. - Increase critical hit chance
maneuver to its maximum. Some maneuvers require a certain type of weapon to function, while others are
defensive in nature. Also, some maneuvers are “toggle” maneuvers, meaning you can activate and deactivate
them. Or if you run out of Energy, they will shut down automatically. Calibrate railguns - Increase critical hit chance

Distress call - Emit a distress signal and call for help Calibrate plasma cannons - Increase critical hit chance

Defensive tactics - Defend against incoming missiles and torpedoes Calibrate shockwave gen. - Increase critical hit chance

Power to shields - Strengthen shields at the expense of engines and weapons Calibrate missiles - Increase critical hit chance

Power to weapons - Enhance weapons at the expense of shields and engines Calibrate fusion torp. - Increase critical hit chance

Power to engines - Boost engines at the expense of shields and weapons Multitargeting - Fire all weapons on multiple targets

Evasive tactics - Increase evasion Overload - Fire weapon with significantly increased damage

Gunner - Increase weapons accuracy Burst - Fire multiple volleys from a single weapon

Maneuverability - Increase ship’s maneuverability Precise shot - Fire weapon with increased range and damage

Sustained thrust - Increase speed and acceleration Pierce shields - Shot from selected weapon ignores shields and deals extra damage

Diagnostics - Speed up ship system repairs Anti-shield calibration - Primary weapons can pass through shields

Hard turn - Make a sharp turn EMP shockwave - Shot deals additional EMP damage

CAPTURING VESSELS
Disabling shockwave - Drain target’s weapons It is possible to capture other vessels to drag them to a nearby station and sell them. First and foremost, you
must have troopers on your ship. They will be doing a lot of the work. Every ship can have troopers onboard.
They serve as the main attacking force, as well as ship security if the ship is being boarded.
Draining shockwave - Steal target’s energy to heal your shields
To capture a ship, it is always good to damage it severely. Damaging a ship also diminishes the number of
troopers defending it. Then use the Transport button on your right HUD console to teleport your own troopers
Seeker missile - Fire a missile that cannot miss onto the targeted ship. Your troopers will then do their best to fight their way through the ship and take it over.
You will see the ship’s Hull slowly dropping. That reflects the fighting going on inside the vessel. The sargeant
of your troopers, Xavier Morse, will notify you over commlink when they have taken control of the ship. The
unfortunate vessel will then simply float in space. Then simply use the grappling beam on it and drag it to a
Missile swarm - Fire several missiles from one launcher
nearby space station to sell it. You can earn a hefty profit by doing this.

Nuclear warhead - Missile damages all target’s systems Technical Support
