RE: Notice of Award for the Get Fruved Project

Dear Laura Niederer and Jessica Rae Bodzio,

The University of Tennessee (UT) has been authorized by the United States Department of
Agriculture/National Institute of Food and Agriculture (USDA/NIFA) to award $3,000 to
Marywood University for participation in the Get Fruved Project from 8/1/2017 to 7/31/2019.
This is associated with the grant “Get Fruved: A peer-led, train-the-trainer social marketing
intervention to increase fruit and vegetable intake and prevent childhood obesity”, USDA award
number 2014-67001-2185. I am the primary investigator for the Get Fruved project in the
Department of Nutrition, University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

A check for $2,000 will be delivered after receipt of an invoice indicating the distribution of the
Get Fruved survey. An additional check for $1,000 will be delivered upon receipt of an invoice
indicating completion of the four required environmental objective audits. We will send sample
invoices that you may use for this purpose.

Please note that the Awards Management Division, NIFA, Office of Grants and Financial
Management, USDA has specified that no indirect costs are to be charged to this award.

The University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture (UTIA) will be managing the award funds. If
you are not already in the UT system as a vendor, you will also need to complete paperwork for
the creation of a vendor ID and you will receive an email with the vendor forms and instructions
for completing the paperwork. UTIA will work with you to transfer the award funds once you are
established as a vendor and have submitted an invoice.

Congratulations, and we look forward to working with you on the Get Fruved project!
