Following the successful gathering of delegates for the INSAP X–OXFORD XI–SEAC XXV Conference in Santiago de
Compostela, we now invite you to submit your written paper by 2018 February 28th next, and as announced at the
final session of the conference. The process is set out below.
After the review process, accepted papers will be published in the open-access on-line journal ‘MEDITERRANEAN
ARCHAEOLOGY AND ARCHAEOMETRY’ (http://www.maajournal.com). The indicative date provided by MAA for this
special volume is late 2018.
On the MAA website, you will find the following essential information and downloads:
The refereeing process will be announced later but it is always advisable to read the criteria by which your
paper will be refereed.
Your paper must adhere to the style guidelines given in the MAA Template and the limit is strictly 8 pages for all of
your content. The Template contains MAA formatting rules on font style, Figure and Table caption style, and
referencing style. The editors of Road to the Stars & MAA will reject manuscripts which do not comply with these
guidelines.
Your paper(s) and Author Declaration Form should be returned to frank.prendergast@dit.ie. Use an abbreviated
filename for your manuscript i.e. surname of lead author followed by the first 3–5 words from the title (e.g.
silva_inferring_alignments2.docx). Please do not submit your work before 2018 Jan 1. Potentially, there are 113
papers and because of the sheer size of this project, we regret that any extension on the deadline of 2018 February
28 is not possible. If English is not your first language, please consider requesting a native English speaker to review
your text for grammar and composition (editors and reviewers cannot undertake this work).
