In its continuing commitment to service, the Mary the Queen College (Pampanga), Inc.
(MQCPI) expands its scholarship programs to assist the deserving youth to acquire quality
education. These grants are awarded not only to students who excel academically but also to
those who demonstrate distinctive athletic, performing arts abilities, leadership or commendable
social involvement.
IMPORTANT:
Soon after, three (3) years later Mary the Queen College of Pampanga, Inc. (MQCPI) was founded by
Mr. Ladislao S. David, founder of House of David Group (HDG) and the House of David Foundation,
Inc. (HDF) in February of year 2003 as a response to the vision of its founder to provide “Academic
Excellence and Integral Formation” especially to the underprivileged but deserving students into
higher level of education.
B. Our Vision
Our vision is to be the center for academic excellence and integral formation in Pampanga, providing
accessible education especially for the underprivileged, fostering a community whose spirituality is
centered on the word of God and molding graduates who are highly competent, honest and socially
responsible.
C. Our Mission
1. We are an institution that engages the services of a highly competent faculty and staff,
continuously upgrades systems and facilities to achieve academic excellence, and maintains high
standard education.
2. We provide our people with seminars, trainings and workshops (STWs) for personal and
professional advancement.
3. We strive to maintain relevant and competitive courses accessible to all especially for the
underprivileged.
4. We ensure the competencies of our students and graduates through rational selection and
retention processes.
5. We set an environment of a community living out the Gospel values in thought, word and deed.
6. We advance the Christian formation of our stakeholders towards integral development with

Mary the Queen College believes that education is one of the key factors in alleviating the socio-
economic status in life. It aims to enrich the mind, the spirit, and the body of man for service to God
and humanity.
F. Definition of Terms
1. Scholarship Grant – is an award of financial aid given to students to further their education
demanding from students to meet prescribed requirements, both before and after they have
obtained it. Most of these scholarships will require students to have a minimum Grade Point
Average (GPA) and/or exemplary performance in performing arts, sports and other activities
depending on the nature of the scholarship.

scholarship grants administered by Mary the Queen College (Pampanga), Inc.

4. Student scholars are also encouraged to be part of community service activities of House of
David Group (HDG) as part of the “paying it forward value”, so long as the schedule will not
interfere, affect or be in conflict with their class schedules.
Requirements
1. Fully accomplished application form.
2. Original copy of High School Report Card (Form 138)
certifying that the student concerned graduated from High
school.
3. Certification from the School Principal showing that he/she
belongs to top five (5) graduating students.
4. Certificate of Good Moral Character from the School
Principal
5. Birth Certificate and Marriage Contract (if married)
6. Recent 2x2 photo (2 copies)
7. Certificate of employment (if employed)
8. Letter of Recommendation from the following authorities:

5. Scholarship Privileges:
5.1. Full tuition fee for the applicable semester of any academic year, EXCLUDING
application/testing fees, miscellaneous and other fees prescribed for the course.
6. General Documentary Requirements for re-availing of Scholarship Program:

4. In the succeeding semesters, FAS is awarded to a student who has satisfied the following
requirements:
Requirements
1. Submitted the following documentary requirements to the Office of Student
Affairs for MQCPI:
a. Certified True Copy of Grades
b. Certified Daily Time Record of Service Hours
2. Must have obtained a General Point Average (GPA) of 85% from the
previous semester.
3. Must have obtained a grade 80% and above to all subjects from the previous
semesters up to the present (including PE and NSTP).
4. Must be of good moral character and must not have a record of any
disciplinary action in violation of major offenses stipulated in the student
manual meted out to him during his stay in the school.
5. Must carry a load prescribed in the curriculum.
Requirements
1. Has completed the training requirements prescribed by the college;
2. Holistic fitness to engage in various performances and competitions;
3. Of good moral character; and
4. Exemplary performance as attested by a recommendation from both the
student’s (for new / incoming students) and the institution’s assigned
moderator/trainer.
5. Recipient of this grant shall be entitled to 50% discount on tuition fees for new scholars while the
current scholars before effectivity of this policy shall still receive 100% discount on Tuition Fee.
6. Members of the artist group “ArtiStaRita” shall be reserved five (5) slots under this scholarship
program.
7. The grant is valid only for the semester following the one where the above criteria had been met.
8. Performing arts scholars shall be evaluated based on an output based criteria to be determined by
the Office of Student Affairs Head and Performing Arts Coordinator.
9. Disqualified scholars can re-avail of the benefits of the program for the next semester upon
meeting satisfactorily all the prescribed requirements.
10. Guidelines for Tenability:
To continuously avail of the grant, the recipient must:
Tenability
1. No failing grades (grade of 74% and below) in all of his/her subjects,
2. Exemplary performance as attested by a recommendation from the assigned
moderator/trainer.
3. Be of good moral character, not have a record of any disciplinary sanctions
and religiously abide by all the rules and regulations of the institution
4. Should carry a load not less than 15 units and not more than 24 units during
a particular term.
11. The grantee must submit the following requirements after the current semester for re-evaluation:
Tenability
1. The student scholar must be able to pass all his/her 18 units of enrolled
subjects for the semester.
2. If the student scholar failed in one or more subjects the following rules shall
apply:
a. Student will be given a probationary status on his/her scholarship grant;
b. If the student incurs a failing grade in any of his/her subjects during the
succeeding term, the scholarship grant is revoked.
c. The student who is under probationary status will still enjoy 100% of
grants for the semester.
5. The student scholar should complete and submit the following documentary requirements:

fees, miscellaneous and other fees prescribed for the course.
b. Scholars who failed to meet the standards set by the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) will be
put on probationary status and could avail of the full scholarship for one semester.
c. In case that the scholar failed to meet the standards during the probationary period,
scholarship is automatically revoked.
d. Disqualified scholars can re-avail of the benefits of the program for the next semester upon
meeting satisfactorily all the prescribed requirements.
e. All scholars must not have a record of any disciplinary sanction in violations of major
sanctions as stipulated in the student manual and religiously abide by all the rules and
regulations of the institution.
f. To continuously avail of the grant for the succeeding semester, the recipient must:
1. Maintain a minimum GPA of 94% and a minimum grade of 85% in all
of his/her subjects in a particular semester
2. Of good moral character
a. Scholarship grant may be availed only by students who carry a load prescribed by the
curriculum.
b. Scholars who failed to meet the standards set by the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) will be
put on probationary status and could avail of the full scholarship for one semester.
c. In case that the scholar failed to meet the standards during the probationary period,
scholarship is automatically revoked.
d. Disqualified scholars can re-avail of the benefits of the program for the next semester upon
meeting satisfactorily all the prescribed requirements.

REPEALING CLAUSE
All policies, guidelines and procedures inconsistent herewith are hereby revoked, modified or
amended, as the case may be.
EFFECTIVE DATE
This policy shall take effect on June _______, 2015.
