Einbau der Empfangsanlage Installation of Receiver

Acfitung!
Wic*rtige Hinweise:
a) Bei Fahrzeugen mit Plus an Masse ist kein Einbau rnoglich,
da alle EmpfAnger Minus an Masse geschaltet sind.
b) Bei Einbau der Empfangsanlage auf einwandfreie Masse-
verbindungen achten.
c) Batterie abklemmen, um Kurzschhlsse zu vermeiden.
d) Nach Einbau der Empfangsanlage sind die Garantieunter-
lagen vollstdndig auszufrillen.
1. Antenne:
a) Siehe Seite 6.
2. Frontlaulsprecher (Fig. 2al2bl2cl:
a) Der Einbau erfolgt rechts und links im Armaturenbrett.
, b) Lautsprecherabdeckung entfernen (1 Schraube). Dazu
wird, nach Entfernen der Schraube, die Abdeckung auf
der lnnenseite angehoben und parallel zur Frontscheibe
nach oben ausgeclipst. Danach kann die Abdeckung, die
im duBeren Bereich nur eingehiingt ist, herausgenom-
men werden.
c) Lautsprecherkabel unter dem Armaturenbrett entlang
dem Hauptkabelbaum zum Empfdnger verlegen und mit
Hilfe der vorhandenen Kabelb6nder befestigen.
Dazu muB die untere Armaturenbrettverkleidung gel,ost
werden(2 Schrauben). Abdeckung durch Druck nach
vorn aushdngen und herunterklappeir.
d) Lautsprecher mit Tesamollstreifen versehen (Fig. 2b).
e) Kabelverbindung herstellen. Lautsprecher einsetzen und
festschrauben. Dazu ist ein Gabelschliissel (7 mm) oder
eine entsprechende Knarre erforderlich.
f) Abdeckung nach Fig. 2c mit Schaumstoffscheibe ver-
sehen. Danach Abdeckung in umgekehrter Reihenfolge
montieren.

Attention!
lmportant directions:
a) lnstallation is not possible in cars with positive to ground
battery system because all radio receivers are wired
negative to ground.
b) When installing receiver pay attention to proper ground
connection.s.
c) Disconnect battery to avoid shorts.
d) After inslallation of receiver fill out warranty registration
card completely.
1. Antenna:
a) see page 6.
2. Frontspeaker (Fig. 2al2bl2clz
a) lnsiallation is effected on the right and lefthand side in
the dash-board.
b) Remove speaker cover (1 screw). 'After removing the
screw, lift cover on the inside and clip out upwards
parallel to the front pane. After that the cover, which is
only hung in the outside area, can be removed.
c) Lay speaker cable underneath the dash-board along
the main wiring harness to the receiver and fasten it
by means of the existing cable bands.
For tis lbosen the lower dash-board casing (2 screws).
Remove cover by pressing forward and hinge it down.
d) Provide speaker with Tesamoll strip (fig. 2b).
e) Effect cable connection. lnsert speaker and screw on;
a fork wrench (7 mm) or a corresponding ratchet is
necessary for this.
f) Provide cover acc. to fig. 2c with a disc of plastic foam.
Then mount cover in reverse turn.

Oberteil des Einbauraums, einclipsen. Bei 52 mm Em-
pfinger sind die flachen Federn erforderlich. Bei 42 mm
Gerdien sind die hoheren Federn zu verwenden und
zusatzlich mtissen am Empfdnger, wie in Fig. 7a ge-
zeigt, auf die Unterseite zwei Klebef ize angebracht
werden.
c) Kabelverbindungen nadl Abschnitt 7 herstellen.
d) EmpfAnger einschieben und mit Hilfe der Halteba,igel
(Pos. 13) befestigen. Danach Zierblende, Scialterhebel
und Drehknople aufstecken.
6. Recelver lllg. 7l7al7blz
a) Remove the dummy plate from the radio cut-out.
b) Clip in spring (pos. l4l15) in the existing slotted holes
in the upper part of the installation area. By 52 mm
_ receiver the llat springs are necessary. By 42 mm
receiver higher springs are to be used. ln addition
there must be attached to the receiver two stick felts
onto the bottom side, as shown in lig. 7a.
c) Effect cable connections as per section 7.
d) lnsert receiver and lasten it by means of support
brackets (pos. 13). Then insert trim pilate, switdl lever
and knobs.

 1. Anlenne (Fig.1/1al1bl 1cl1d):
a) Der Antenneneinbau kann, bei Dieselfahrzeugen vorn
und im Heck, bei allen anderen Typen nur im Heck er-
folgen. Wobei fiir den Fronteinbau nur die Normalan-
tenne vorgesehen ist.
b) Der Einbau erfolgt im rechten vorderen Kotfliigel Fig. 1
Schgttwand im Radlauf demontieren.
c) Bohrung (24 mm @) anzeichnen und erstellen. Zum
Schutz des Lackes vorher mit Klebeband abkleben.
d) Unterer Befestigungswinkel an der Antenne anschrauben.
e) Sechskantmutter von der Antenne abnehmen. Auf der
Antenne verbleiben das Zwischenstiick und der Fett-
ring. Der Fettring dient als Korrosionsschutz der Ka-
rosseriebohrung und bewirkt eine gute Masseverbindung
der Antenne mit der Karosserie.
f) Die Antenne von unten in die Kotfliigelbohrung ein-
setzen. Dichtunterlage und PaBstiick (im Plastikbeutel
verpackt der Antenne beiliegend) und Sechskantmutter
auf die Antenne stecken und.leicht anziehen.
g) Mit dem Haltewinkel die Antenne an dem vorhandenen
Befestigungsbtigel anschrauben. Die Antenne ausrichten,
Sechskantmutter am Antennenkopf fest anziehen, dann
erst den Haltewinkel befestigen.
h) Die Kabelverlegung erfolgt durch die vorhandene Boh-
rung in den lnnenraum unter der Armaturenbrettab-
deckung, entlang dem Kabelbaum, zum Empfdnger.
i) Der Heckantenneneinbau erfolgt im linken hinteren
Kotfltigel (Fig. 1a). Dazu muB die Kofferraumauskleidung
links entfernt werden.
i) Die Montage erfolgt lt. Abschnitt c-9.
k) Zur Kabelverlegung muR Rr.icksitz und Rticklehne her-
ausgenommen werden. Bei Automatikantenne sind noch
untere Armaturenbrettverkleidung und FuBstrltze
FahrerfuBraum links zu entfernen.
l) Das Massekabel wird mit dem Massepunkt im Koffer-
raum verschraubt. Die Kabelverlegung erfolgt auf der
lin ken Wagenseite durch vorhandene Kabeldurchf Lih
in den lnnenraum. Dabei ist darauf zu achten, daB sich
die Farbmarkierungen der Kabel in der Ndhe der Kabel-
durchfrihrung bef inden.
m) .lm lnnenraum erfolgt die Kabelverlegung entlang dem
Kabelbaum unter den vorhandenen Kabelabdeckungen.
Das HF-Kabel und die Steuerleitung werden vor dem
Fahrersitz entlang dem Trdger zur Mittelkonsole ver-
legt (Fig. 1b).
Die Plusleitung wird im Bereich der demontierten FuB-
stritze nach oben zum Sicherungskasten verlegt.
n) Der AnschluB erfolgt vom Motbrraum aus. Dazu muB
der Sicherungskasten herausgenommen werden. Be-
festigung losen (1 Mutter), Iosen Sicherungskasten nach
lnnenschwenken,um 90o drehen und nach vorn heraus_
ziehen. Plusleitung an Sicherung 2 anschlieBen und den
Sicherungskasten in umgekehrter Reihenfolge wieder
montieren.

Antenna (fig. 1/laI1bl lcl1d):
a) lnstallation of antenna can be made into Diesel vehicle
in the front and the rear, with all other types installa-
tion of antenna can only be made in the rear. For the
front installation only normal antennas are provided.
b) The installation will be effected in the right front fender

c) Mark and effekt boring (24mm 0). C,over with splicing
tape before starting in order to protect the lacquer.
d) Screw the underneath fastening angle onto the antenna.
e) Remove the hexagonal nut from the antenna. The
connection piece and fat ring remain on the antenna.
The fat ring serves as rust protection for the car body
boring and effects a good ground connection between
the antenna and the car body.
f) lnsert antenna into fender boring from the bottom. Plug
the sealer and fitting piece (located in the plastic bag
packed to the antenna) as well as the hexagonal nut
onto the antenna and tighten lightly.
g) Screw the antenna onto the already existing fastening
support with the aid of the holding angle. Adjust
antenna, tighten the hexagonal nut onto the antenna
head, and then fasten the supporting angle.
h) The cable laying will be effected trough the existing
boring into the interior underneath the dash-board
covering, along the wiring harness, to the receiver.
i) The rear antenna installation has to be effected in the
lefthand rear fender (fig. 1a). For this remove the
coating of the trunk of the car on the left side.
j) Installation has to be effected as per section c-g.
k) For cable laying remove back seat and back reit. By
im automatic antennas the dash-board covering and the
footrest in the driver foot space left has to be removed
too.
l) Screw ground cable with the ground connection point
rung in the trunk of the car. The cable laying is effected at
the left side of the car through the -existing cable
passage into the interior. pay attention that the coloring
marks of cables are close to the cable passage.
m) ln the interior the cable laying is effected alonglhe wiring
harness underneath the existing cable Covers. Lay
RF-cable and pilot wire in front of driver's seat alon!

Lay positive cable in the area of the' dismounted
footrest upwards to the fuse box.
n) The connection will be effected from the motor space.
Remove the fuse box. L-oosen fastening (1 nut). Swing
the loose fuse box inwards, turn 90b 'and |rull ou-t
'reinstall
forward. Connect positive wire to fuse 2 and
the fuse box in reverse sequence.
