Efficient driving way for NOVUS
X How to drive for long durability of Engine

1. When engine starting, should be stabilize oil pressure and then increase the rpm gradually until the engine oil reach

to the turbocharger and each bearing. If you are operating high speed before oil reaching,

the engine may be damaged. Especially turbochargers can be fatal.

2. After keeping 3 ~5min at idle rpm condition and then vehicle start driving.

3. When engine oil change, you should be meet same specifications as we recommended grade

and engine oil filter must filling oil inside of filter when changing the filter.

The reason is that oil can not supply to bearing until filter is filling engine oil.

4. Should be keep engine oil change period in any case.

5. Air cleaner is keeping well thoroughly, if debris or dust are insert to intake system, liner and piston ring would be damaged.

As a result engine power and oil consumption would be happen, or you would be meet engine boring case.

6. Keeping engine idle condition approximately five minutes after the engine stop.

Engine stop after cooling the engine.

Efficient driving way for NOVUS
X Efficient drive for Electronic Engine
1. Do not engine warming up long time, this is the way of unnecessary fuel waste.

2. Engine rpm keeping at 800rpm when vehicle starting, not to use semi clutch if possible.

3. Proper engine rpm to drive is 1,100~1500rpm.

Gear shifting properly according to the driving condition(1~4speed at 1700rpm. 5~6speed at 1600rpm)

4. Gear shift by low speed at the uphill load, when the speed drops below 1100rpm.

5. Electronic accelerator pedal of the engine is operating by driver’s control, it means that electric signals delivered

to the engine ECU by driver and engine ECU which is receive all vehicle information including the accelerator

pedal and the signal of each sensor in the vehicle's driving conditions determined the optimal condition

to drive the vehicle. Therefore, if you use accelerator pedal frequently, it caused high fuel consumption,

so according to the driving condition, should be reducing the poedal operations time.

If you are constant driving help to reduce the fuel consumption also.

6. At the slip area, keeping engine rpm not to higher than governor speed and use engine brake and gear shifting properly.
