Inspection of Valves hydrostatic testing (Body, Seat, Back Seat) of different types of
Valves as per approval Procedure.
Inspection of entire Flare systems in refinery
Inspection of PSVs, Valves and witnessing the hydro test and preparing the reports as per client
requirements.
Witness of Hydro test, Pneumatic test, Nitrogen test, Fluorescent test etc., as per procedure and
reporting the results to client.
Witness of Magnetic Flux Leakage, Holiday Test (Non-metallic Lining), Vacuum box test for tank
bottom plate welds.
Preparation of the final reports & history of equipment inspected as per Client requirements
includes all activities performed, repairs carried out & recommendations of the equipment
Acceptance Inspection of safety relief valve, Load testing, Heat loose – Handle with
THERMOGRAPHY, inspection of Emissivity- Through the peep hole Heater.
Inspection of Man ways, inspection of atmospheric corrosion of shell, Inspection of Fouled
Demister Pads in columns, Tray inspection, internal tray plate mounting, bubble caps and internal
inspection on clad columns, marking the CML for UT Thickness gauge
Provide technical input to projects, failure investigation, and root causes analyses.
Participates in and provide technical expertise for engineering drawing, P&ID, corrosion standards,

Welding Engineering
Welding process Inspection
Preparing WPS, PQR, WPQ as per ASME Sec IX and welding process inspection of various grades
of carbon steels, alloy steels, 300 series stainless steels, 400 series stainless steels, duplex grades,
cladded surface in Pressure vessel, boiler, column, heat exchangers, air fin coolers, reformer tube,
furnace tube radiation & convection coils and piping construction/repair as per WPS.
Welding Joint Evaluation
Mechanical and material testing of various welded joints Single V, J, U Butt joints, T type Fillet, lap
joints in Metallurgical Lab.
Weld ability testing conducted on varestraint samples in 316 grade steel for sour water vessel and
DEA, MEA, DIGA corrosion inhibitor (sodium poly sulphide).
Non Destructive Testing
Inspection of weld joints by liquid Penetrant, eddy current, radiography and ultrasonic testing.
Identification, characterization, acceptance and rejection of defects as per acceptance criteria of
ASME Sec V of various weld joints.
Analysis and interpretation of results using TOFD. Laser mapping, Remaining Life assessment of
Heat Boilers, Metallography, Automatic ultrasonic scanning, Low Frequency/High frequency
Electromagnetic Testing, Acoustic emission testing, Pulse eddy current testing.
Design Implementation
New design and re-rating approval pressure vessel, boiler, column, and heat exchanger as per
ASME Sec VIII and process piping as per ASME B31.3.
Painting & Coating
Inspection of Surface blasting techniques like blast cleaning (Grit blasting, sand blasting etc.), water
jet cleaning, mechanical cleaning, manual cleaning etc. Checking of abrasives and water during
surface cleaning to ensure the same.
Checking the application of painting / primers as per the specification / manufacturers instruction
like proper applications are used as per the specification like brush, roller and conventional spray
applications etc.
Inspection using WFT & DFT by using Eccentric wheel & Comb gauges or by calculations,
inspection by Banana gauge, holiday testing of all coating.
Painting duties include writing up specifications, reporting, QC Plane, ITPs & coordination with
yard personnel & signing off completed areas
Raw material (FBE Powder, Adhesives & Polymers) receiving Inspection
Monitoring Inspection the application of paints as per project procedure, Paint data sheets.
Daily reports & monthly reports, this experience also covers pipe coating, insulation, tank coating,
the regular maintenance and repair of such equipment as spray units, Blast pots and conventional
spray, together with diesel compressors
Engineering Analysis:
Stress Analysis through API579 and solutions provided for Hydro cracking Reactor Catalyst
Bed to internal skirt fillet weld of SS347 Cladding failure.
Fracture and Failure Analysis of Mode III cracking and Mixed Mode I+ Mode III cracking in
Hydrogen service Cladding Failure of SS309+SS347 Metallurgy.
Stress Analysis of different grade pressure vessel Metallurgy (SA516 Gr60, SA516 Gr70) in amine
treating process vessel operating at ambient pressure located in Sulfur Recovery unit.
Recommended and implemented micro alloyed steel line pipe for sour water feeding to column for
ammonium bi sulphide corrosion resistance in Sour water stripper plant.
Stress analysis of boiler grade pipe SA179 metallurgy in Waste heat Recovery boiler of Sulfur
Recovery unit.
