Rising 4th Grade Summer Math Packet

Our rising fourth graders had a busy year in third grade learning new
math skills. Mastery of all third grade skills is extremely important in
order to develop a solid math foundation. Each year builds upon each
previous year’s skills in math. The 4th grade Sadlier Math Program will
continue adding onto the skills your child has already learned; so any
time spent reinforcing those third grade concepts will be beneficial to
your child.

To help keep those skills strong we are asking you to have your child
complete this Summer Math Packet and return it on the first day of
school. Your child’s name will then be displayed on the “Summer
Math Stars” Hall of Fame board. Also, all students who return their
completed packet will be entered into a class drawing to win prizes.

If, after your child has completed the math problems, you feel your
child is still struggling on a particular concept and would like for
him/her to have further practice, you can visit one or more of the
following math web sites:

www.funbrain.com
www.mathisfun.com
www.aaamath.com
www.coolmath4kids.com
www.aplusmath.com

Thank you so much for assisting your child with this packet. We look
forward to the new school year and our “new” fourth graders!

Have a wonderful summer.

Sincerely,
Mrs. B. Bilger
