Installation and Load Capacity Data

Applies to solid substrates

* This number is based on a 410ml cartridge, injecting ideal volume, and allowing 30ml wastage.
Important: Never under fill the hole

Close edge (C) and anchor spacing (S) distances:

- The characteristic edge distance (Ccr,N) is 1.0 x hef
- The characteristic spacing distance (Scr,N) is 1.8 x hef
- The minimum edge (Cmin) and spacing (Smin) distances are 0.5 x hef

All load capacity values assume adequate steel strength; the anchor tests were carried out using
10.9 or 12.9 steel.

Performance data (embedment depth 8d) in C20/25 concrete

The performance of an anchor depends in the properties of the resin, the steel quality of the
threaded bar, the concrete strength, the embedment depths and the drilling and cleaning quality. In
the following pages, the loads are indicated for embedment depths ranging from 8 times to 12 times
the bar diameter. It is possible to interpolate 9 times, 10 times and 11 times. The performance at
standard embedment depth for chemical anchors is also included.

Limitations
®
During the curing process AnchorFix -1 mortar exhibits unrestrained shrinkage.

Note for the Use in Porous Substrates

This bonded anchor is not intended for use as a cosmetic or decorative product. When anchoring
into porous or reconstituted stone it is recommended that technical assistance is sought. Due to the
nature of the product, migration of the monomer in the resin may cause staining in certain materials.
If you are still uncertain, it is advisable to test the resin by applying it in a small, discrete area and
testing before using the resin on the project.

Important Note

recommendations or suggestions regarding the use of such products are made without guarantee,
since the conditions of use are beyond the control of the Company. It is the customer’s responsibility
to satisfy himself that each product is fit for the purpose for which he intends to use it, that the actual
conditions of use are suitable and that, in the light of our continual research and development
