Content
At the end of the class hour, given the kahoot test, 8th graders will answer at least 8 questions out of
10 correctly and identify the structures of the present perfect tense.

Teaching Activities [ASSURE (Utilize Technology, Media, and Materials and Require Learner

Teacher will utilize technology by using and demonstrating different kinds of websites such as Prezi,
Kahoot, Edmodo etc. By means, each and every student having different learning styles like visual or
auditory learning will benefit from the class hour in the most appropriate way.
Individual Learning Activities First, teacher will present (via Prezi) Perfect tense
form and then will have students do their
individual reading activity.
Summary
The general content of this lesson will be tourism. In the class, students will elaborate on different
grammar points (present perfect tense-positive, negative statements and questions), vocabulary
items and also different kinds of daily elements beneficial for the use of the target language.
Measurement & Assessment Activities for They will take an online test to be evaluated by the
Individual Performance teacher. (Kahoot)
Homework (optional) Students will read the passage (My solo Turkey trip)
before class hour to identify the vocabulary items
they are unfamiliar with.
Explanation
Write the points regarding to the measurement and evaluation which you want to explain. (If any)
Teacher will present his/her Prezi presentation and will make students take the kahoot test. If the
teacher happens to be a problematic situation with electricity, Kahoot test will be presented to
students as handouts.
