excise duty certificate for purchase of Bitumen, Emulsion, FO, LDO, Cement
and Steel - – Requested - Regarding.

Engineers and Contrators, Visakhapatnam.

It is submitted that the work “Permanent Restoration to Chadrampalem – Perantalu

temple road from KM 0.000 to 14.000 in East Godavari District” was awarded to M/s GR
Constructions, Engineers & Contractors, Visakhapatnam vide reference 1st cited.

The Firm has put in a representation duly requesting to issue the certificate of
exemption of excise duty for purchase of Bitumen, Emultion, FO, LDO, Cement and Steel for
the following material which are to be used on the work
1) Bitumen (VG 30)60/70 grade bulk bitumen Qty 798.92 MT (Visakhapatnam)
2) Bitumen Emulsion (SS1) Qty 28.409 MT (Visakahpatnam)
3) Bitumen Emulsion (RS1) Qty 35.760 MT (Visakahpatnam)
4) LDO Qty 79.200 KL (|Viskahapatanm)
5) FO Qty 114.400 KL (Visakahpatnam)
6) Diesel Qty 82.500 kL (Visakhapatnam)
7) Cement Qty 3505.807 MT ( Visakhapatnam)
8) Steel (Mild steel) 1.760 MT (Visakahapatnam)
9) Steel (Fe-415) 185.02 MT (Visakhapatnam)
It is further submitted that the aforesaid goods are required for the construction of the
above said project and the said project has duly been approved by the Government of India.
It is requested that the necessary Exemption from Excise duty may be allowed against
above referred quantities to M/s GR Constructions as per Government of India (Ministry of
Finance, Department of Revenue) Notification No. IFB No.1 to 17/ APDRP/ R&B/ DCE(R)/
EE(TEC)/ DEE-II/ AEE2/2016-17 Dt.22.08.2016.
In view of the above, I submit herewith the representation of the firm along with the
material calculation sheet and I request the Superintending Engineer (R&B) Circle, Kakinada
for favour of recommending the representation of the firm to the Engineer-in-Chief (R&B)
Administration, SR & CRN for favour of taking further action.

It is submitted that the work “Permanent Restoration to Chadrampalem – Perantalu

temple road from KM 0.000 to 14.000 in East Godavari District” was awarded to M/s GR
Constructions,Engineers & Contractors, Visakhapatnam vide reference 1st cited.

as per Government of India (Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue) Notification No. IFB
No.1 to 17/ APDRP/R&B/DCE(R)/EE(TEC)/DEE-II/AEE2/2016-17 Dt.22.08.2016
1) Asphalt Batch Mix plant – 1 No.
2) 365KVa Generator – 1 No.
3) 40 KVa Generator – 1 No.
4) Bharath Benz – 4 Nos.
5) Agro 2000 Self loading concrete mixer – 1 No.
6) Appollo Model AP 550 Hydrostatic Sensor Paver – 1 No.
7) Ammann Single Drum Roller – 1 No.
8) Eicher PRO1095XP ECBC-14F – 1 No.
9) Volvo Vibrator – 1 No.
10) Volvo Vibrator - 1 No.
It is further submitted that the aforesaid goods are required for the construction of the
above said project and the said project has duly been approved by the Government of India.
It is requested that the necessary Exemption from Excise duty may be allowed against
above referred materials to M/s GR Constructions as per Government of India (Ministry of
Finance, Department of Revenue) Notification No. IFB No.1 to 17/ APDRP/ R&B/ DCE(R) /
EE(TEC)/DEE-II/AEE2/2016-17 Dt.22.08.2016.

In view of the above, I submit herewith the representation of the firm and I request the
Superintending Engineer (R&B) Circle, Kakinada for favour of recommending the
representation of the firm to the Engineer-in-Chief (R&B) Administration, SR & CRN for favour
of taking further action.
