Dynapac offers two major solutions when it

comes to electric poker vibrators:
• motor-in-head poker vibrators (AN or AX
series) in combination with a frequency
converter (UF or UE)
• poker vibrators with miniaturized built-in
frequency converter (UXAN series)

While the motor-in head pokers / independent

converter combination is widely used when several
pokers are being used at the same time (pokers being
plugged to the same multi-outlet converter), the
built-in alternative is preferred when one or two
vibrators are used simultaneously.
The first alternative is well-suited to big construction
sites where many operators use poker vibrators
simultaneously.
The second alternative is much more mobile, light-
weight and easy to operate as the poker is simply to
be plugged to an ordinary wall outlet.

AN SERIES
Dynapac AN poker vibrators cover the full scope of concrete
internal vibration, with diameters ranging from 28 mm (0.9 in)
for laboratory applications to 90 mm (3.5 in) for large civil
engineering projects (dams for example).
New performance standards on the market:
• With their increased eccenter mass resulting in
centrifugal force up to 30% and amplitude up to 62%
higher than other electric pokers on the market, the
DYNAPAC AN pokers set new performance standards.

Trouble-free operation:
• 100% reliable start-up is generated by a helical copper
rotor in oil bath
• AN pokers feature a specially-engineered aluminium

• AN can also be equipped with a comfortable handle,
mainly for casting slabs. This version is named E (AN-E).

AX SERIES
Economy: The DYNAPAC AX pokers are oil bath lubricated
electric pokers ranging from diameter 40mm (1 5/8 in) to
65mm (2 1/2 in).
This series is an economical alternative to the AN top-of-the-
range series. Based on the same principle but with a steel
eccentric weight and a 10 % lower centrifugal force than the
AN. The AX pokers also feature thermal protection in the
windings on all three phases. They are equipped with a
standard waterproof aluminium switch box, a 5 m (16.4 ft)
hose and include a 10m (33 ft) electric cable.

UF/UE frequency converters: standard and «tailor-made» models

The DYNAPAC series of UF/UE frequency converters includes standard models from 2 to 4 outlets, and from 1.5 to 5 KVA, as well as models which
are "tailor-made" to our customer’s needs and available upon request.
DYNAPAC frequency converters virtually cover the full scope of applications where they are needed either in combination with motor-in-head
pokers or with high-frequency external vibrators (mostly precast industry).
DYNAPAC now introduces a new generation of frequency converters : the UE60/61 and UE81 featuring reduced weight and dimensions as
compared to the UF series.
New generation of UE electronic frequency converters :
• reduced weight and dimensions as compared to
rotative frequency converters (approx 40% lighter)
• a unique version is suitable for markets
using 50 Hz or 60 Hz current
• electrical protection on the primary:
under voltage / over voltage
• electrical protection on the secondary:

• Equipped with 2 outlets, power: 2 kVA
• Only 24 kg ! (vs 42 kg for the rotative model UF60/61)

How to select a frequency converter

As a rule of thumb, the total intensity of the electric pokers (or external vibrators) connected to the
converter should not exceed the stated converter's intensity as ollows:
UF60/61: 25 Amps (at 42V)
UF81: 67 Amps (at 42V)
UE50: 20.5 Amps (at 42V)
This means that
- The UF60/61 can run up to 2 x AN48 or 2 x AX56
- The UF81 can run up to 4 x AN56 or 4 x AX56. (different pokers can be mixed provided the total does
not exceed the converter's intensity).

Dynapac Concrete - SMART electronic pokers

Can be plugged straight into a standard wall socket.
It is suitable for either 230V-1-50/60 Hz or for 115V-1-50/60 Hz.
Only the poker head needs to be changed to convert the
SMART from a 230V-1-50/60 Hz to a 115V-1-50/60 Hz version.
