a. Job description, critical task procedures and protective equipment. b. Product Integrity Manual for receiving bulk ingredients. c. Safety Manual - bulk receiving - associated safety devices. 2. Sampling: Training on how-to; then actually samples. Knows how bulk ingredient densities are determined. 3. Bin calibration charts: Show how to use. 4. Inventory: Taught correct inventory procedures. Actually takes inventory of ingredient bins for one week. Determines usage of one ingredient from formulation usage during same week. Determines amount of ingredient received from receipts. Compares should inventory with actual inventory each day. Determines shrink at the end of the week by day. Explain anything beyond 1/2 %. Reference back to LRT; understand how to utilize the inventory and receiving screens. 5. Calibration problems (enclosed): Complete problems, reviewed by Plant Manager. 6. On-the-job experience: Performs and knows how to do all jobs associated with bulk receiving area, which includes handling and storage of liquid ingredients. Conducts times studies and compares those studies to both standards and the Model Mill Program. Has recommendation for improvement. 7. What are the first two bottlenecks (limiting factors) to this system? 8. Receiving unit capacities: Determines the capacities of all screws, drags, and elevators in receiving systems (spout capacities included). Draw a flow chart of the receiving system. Reviewed with plant manager. (Xác định công suất của tất cả các vít tải, máng tải, và hệ thống leg nhận nguyên liệu). 9. Calculates receiving direct cost/ton, including: supply; labor; maintenance; energy. (Use Model Mill Program) 10. Quiz - Inventory Management. Open book; discussed at formal review. 11. Reports at least one near miss in a high risk area of Bulk Receiving and completes investigation accordingly. 12. Operates truck/rail receiving scale; is familiar with scale maintenance and security. 13. Reference the CAN Plant Operations Talent Development Competencies for relevant details. 14. Reference World Class Management Model for relevant Accountability and Competency Statements. 15. Reviews and signs off on all related SOP’s for this area.
