1. Use the attached file, Template- Ways to Write a Social Media Update.xlsx, to write 3 different
ways to share the blog post mentioned above. You may use any of the headlines in that
template file as inspiration.

For example, “#smallbizowners, Want to know how to improve your cash flow? http://patient-
direct.com/2016/04/22/small-business-owners-heres-improve-cash-flow/

2. Use Hootsuite’s bulk scheduling tool to upload the status updates you wrote in Step 1. You can
use your own template, or create one of your own.
a. To create a bulk uploading file, go to google drive and create a “Sheet”
b. Put the date as one day after you receive this test, and an accompanying random hour.
Follow the format prescribed by Hootsuite (mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm). Example: 04/30/2016
08:15).
c. Schedule all 3 posts for the same day, but at least 3 hours apart.
d. Follow the character requirements for Twitter when writing the status updates
3. On the uploading tool, choose all 3 networks – twitter, facebook, linkedin
4. Submit the file
5. Record all the social updates you wrote in your test results
Retweeting from Hootsuite
1. Using the same hootsuite account, go to the Twitter Stream
2. Check the tab for ‘New Followers’
3. Pick 2 tweets related to health OR business, then Re-tweet it
4. Take note of the user’s Twitter Handle and the Tweet, so I know which one is yours or from the
team
