.students are the one who usually play this computer but do they known the sides

problems on this game. We usually observe that some students who play dota had

Significance of Study

This study focus on behavior of dota addict in students of university of the

Visayas Dalaguete Campus. The students who played dota and observing the

cause and effect of it. As a per experienced, being an observant in school, most

students do not get proper behaviors, lack of parents guidance, cutting classes and

also avoid escaped. Being a student and an observant, I opted to conduct this

study addressing the problem I had observed.

The finding of this study will benefit the following: To avoid playing those

games and to focus other things that can be good to them. There are many

questions why students are addicted on this kind of games like; why they are tell
lies asking money from their parents just to play dota 2 ? .as I have learned for

this topic it is not good to play dota because it can affect your future and

behavior.when time spent on the computer,playing dota 2 games. A point that it

harms a Childs or adults ,family and social relationships or disrupts school or

work life.that person maybe caught in a cycle of addiction. Like other addiction,

dota game has replaced friend and family as the source of a person, emotional life.

The researcher hopes:

To the parents: That this study will help them to know why their children play

video games. This will also help them to know the techniques or methods on how

to lessen their children’s time on video games.

To the teachers: This study will help them to know how to lessen the time of

their students on video games. This study will also help them expand their

knowledge about why their students play video games

To the students: This study will help them lessen their time on playing video

games. This study will also help them understand the effects of video games

towards their attitude, behavior, and towards their studies.

The study will utilize qualitative design using phenomenological tradition. It

ENVIRONMENT

The study will be held at the Handy's Cafe that is we’re the dota players use

to stay. It is in the Poblacion Dalaguete were most ot the students or players are

15 or more. The place is nice, it is perfect for the players to play because its air

condition and they are comfortable for them to play. With nice place or shop, the

players can focus on playing.

INFORMANTS

The informants for this research are the students/players. What are the effects

if playing dota and the reason why they were very addict in this game of so many

dota players now, they didn’t know what’s the effects of this and what they will

get from this game and how bad it can affect there self and their future.

INSTRUMENT

In this research we have encountered many obstacles especially in our

meeting for this. We came from diff. places and met in one places because others

can't come. And in interview also, the players are mad at us because we disturb

them in playing.

DATA GATHERING PROCEDURE
