Subject : English.

Year/Class : 3 Bestari.

Date/Day : 3.9.2014.

Time : 60 minutes

Theme : World of Knowledge.

Topic : It’s Concert Day.

Focused skill : Listening and speaking.

Content standard : 1.1 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will

be able to pronounce words and speak confidently

with the correct stress, rhythm and intonation.

Learning standard : 1.1.2 Able to listen to and enjoy the stories.

1.1.4 Able to talk about a stimulus with guidance.

Objectives : By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:

i) fill in the blanks of the worksheet given correctly


based on what they heard.

ii) answer simple questions based on the story told


orally.

Teaching aids : Sound of musical instrument, pictures of musical

instruments, text on mah-jong paper, worksheet, list of

questions, number.

Vocabulary : Piano, drums, flute, recorder.

Moral values : Love.


Thinking skills : Identifying.
