Close the door of all hopper

Pour the concrete in hopper A

Open the door of hopper A and

allow concrete to fall in hopper B

Open the door of hopper B and

allow the concrete to fall in cylinder

Weight the concrete in cylinder (C)

Place the slump cone on the table

Pour the concrete (added with

superplasticizers) into the slump
cone and lift the cone.

Allow the concrete to flow on the

table

Measure the diameter of the flow

of concrete in all direction.

Remove the concrete and clean the

apparatus

1. Mix the concrete containing superplasticizers using gloves.

Attach the slump cone to the base

plate and tighten it.

Pour the concrete in slump cone in

three layers while tamping

Remove the excess concrete from

the top surface using trimmer

Lift up the slump cone and allow

concrete to subsidize

Measure the subsidence

Clean the apparatus

1. Keep the slump cone oiled before pouring the concrete.

Arrange the sieves in order

Put the material in top sieve.

Shake the sieve for 5 min. In mechanical sieve shaker

Take the weight of material in each sieve.

Clean the all sieve

bolt it.

Set the timer as for 5 min. and than

start the machine

Switch off the machine and remove

the sieve

2. Don’ t touch the siever in working condition.

3. Place the sieve in correct order on siever machine.

4. Make sure that the machine is cleaned after the use
