SUBJECT : PAYMENT OF ACADEMIC FEES FOR THE SESSION 2016-2017


SEMESTER: JAN - MAY 2017 SUMMER - 2017

Reference Fee Payment Notice No. Acad/Regn/Even (Jan) Term/ 2016-17 dated 21 Oct
2016 read with Notice No. Acad/Regn/Even (Jan) Term/ 2016-17 dated 29 Oct 2016.

1) The students are required to pay the Academic fees from 01 Nov 2016 to 22 Nov
2016.

2) Students are advised to download their fees payment chalans from his/her login id for
course registration by visiting the link (http://192.168.2.7:8080/exam and
http://aims.vnit.ac.in:8080/exam).

3) It may please be noted that no physical copies of chalans will be issued from
Accounts section.

4) Students are advised to carefully preserve copy of chalan/ payment receipt for
their records. No duplicate copies of chalan/ payment receipt will be provided
afterwards.

5) Mode of payment :

1. All Students shall make Online payment through SBI i-Collect


only. Payment procedure is given along with screen shots at
Annexure I.

2. For Students availing Education Loan –

a) Student making online fees payment by NEFT/ RTGS transfer -


Bank details are given at Annexure-II. Student will inform the UTR
No. to Accounts Section, to ensure proper fees chalan reconciliation

b) Student making fees payment by Demand Draft. DD should be


drawn in favour of VNIT, Nagpur. Student along with fees DD shall
report to academic section for getting the fees chalan.

3. Fees Payment by Cheque will not be accepted.


6) For DASA / MEA students Fee component is in US Dollar (USD) as
applicable admission year wise. The conversion rate as per RBI exchange rate as
on 01 Nov 2016, i.e. Rs. 66.86 is fixed for fees payment for Summer 2017
semester. The students DASA / MEA category will collect their fee payment
chalan from Academic Section and later pay the fees amount (as per Chalan) online
through SBI collect as per procedure mentioned in Annexure- I.

ONLINE PAYMENT THROUGH SBI COLLECT
IMPORTANT - Student shall fill the details like Student ID, Name, Enrolment No,
Chalan No, Chalan Date, Fees Amount, Mobile No, Email-id correctly. Student online
registration will be activated only after fees chalan reconciliation by 24th November,
2016. In case Chalan is not reconciled by this date, student shall approach Accounts
Section.

1) For making payment, student should login through student registration portal:

2. Student should select session 2016-17 and semester S17 and follow the procedure as
shown in screenshots below.
Select academic fees & print the chalan.
3. The downloaded chalan will be in the following format.
4. After downloading the chalan, student should visit google.com and search sbi i-collect
and click on the corresponding sbi collect link

5. After clicking the sbi i-collect link, the following page will open up:
7. The proceed button will take you to the form to select State and Type of Corporate/
Institution:
8. Then select Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology Nagpur
9. Now the form for payment details will appear. Students are advised to fill this form
carefully strictly as per the chalan downloaded from their individual login.

A sample is filled for you ready reference.


10 . After entering valid Mobile No., Date of birth the submit link will take to payment
screen as given below. Kindly verify your details and make the payment (Through Debit/
Credit card or netbanking) as per your convenience.

Note: Student should ensure that his details like Name (As per record), Chalan No.
etc is mentioned by the concerned bank in the narration for RTGS/ NEFT. Student

Section, to enable the Accounts Section to reconcile and validate the payment.
