Dear Praying Friend,,

Happy New Year! We say welcome to 2018, with all its hopes, joys, and anticipations. What a year it was! We thank God for all that 2017 brought, of joys and
sorrows, because we know that our great, loving Father works ALL things together for good to those who love Him and are the called according to His purpose
(Rom. 8:28). As I reminisce a bit, I am overflowing with thanksgiving for all the Lord did for us. One chief thing has been the preservation of the Christian Home
ministry for ten years. Praise the Lord! This year has been a year of particular blessing, after coming out of a season of dryness, with its doubts and threatening
discouragement. During such times, the Lord faithfully reminded us that unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it abides alone, but if it dies, it
brings forth much fruit (Jn 12:24).

We saw the fruit of renewal and open doors during 2017. The Living the Set-Apart Life ministry to the younger generation came into being, beckoning them to
live the separated life. There was the birth of a brand new PEPC (Parents Empowering parents through Christ) group at the Newark Christian School. A new
addition to our team of board members has enriched us, and in addition, the Lord opened doors in Jamaica for the Project Teen Mentorship thrust. The Lord
truly encouraged us, and now, as we embark upon a new year, the team continues to meet to seek the Lord in prayer for what’s on His heart for us. This has
been our modus operandum; that of using our meeting time primarily for praying and seeking God. Then we watch and see Him work, and join Him where He is
working. It is an exciting, reenergizing path, and the Lord has not failed us yet!

Our theme for this year is The Glory of God in the Christian Home. Our passionate desire to see the glory of God in the Christian home. This comes from the
account of Moses, in Exodus 33 and 34, asking God to show him His glory. In the Christian home, where the glory of God abounds, the members are merciful, not
mercenary; gracious, not grievous; longsuffering (patient), not impatient; overflowing with goodwill, not ill-will; overflowing with believing and living the truth,
not being duplicitous and incongruent; passing on mercy to many, not withhold mercy; forgiving, not bitter; calling sin into account, not ignoring it. May you
experience the glory of God in your home throughout 2018!
