Description of the artifact and how it meets the standard and criteria:

This artifact shows that I use for my math rotations. My 4th grade team plans 2 days of
instruction. With the two days, I complete a cycle of teaching the content, then
completing rotations. With my rotations, I am able to differentiate the instruction based
on the needs of my students. I always meet with the students who need extra help first.
Then, I meet with students who are understanding the content, maybe with one or two
small mistakes. We will fine tune our math strategies in group together. The last group I
meet with will be the students who are excelling in the skill that I taught and will be given
an extension.

Reflection on the artifact:

I love the way I structure my math rotations. I think that it is very beneficial for the
students to complete the rotations instead of staying at their seats for another day of
practice problems. In this way, the students are up and moving and working with the
skill in a way that is beneficial for their learning. I will be continuing this style of teaching
because it is best instruction for the students I have.
