DEVELOPMENT i) Teacher asks questions about the story. (stress on Days of
the week and the food that the caterpillar had eaten )
ii) Pupils respond to the questions.
iii) Pupils are given different worksheets according to their
level.
A) High achievers – Draw and name the food.
B) Average achievers – Cut and paste the food.
C) Low achievers – Colour the correct food based on the
days.
III. POST-LESSON : i) Listen to “ The Very Hungry Caterpillar “ song.
ii) Sing along with action.
