Hot rolled steel for reinforced concrete constructions
This standard replaces TCVN 1651; 1975.Tieu This standard applies to hot rolled steel round the outer surface

1.1. Round steel hot rolled outer surface smooth or ribbed used as reinforcement for the concrete structure
reinforced normal and reinforced concrete has stressed tr UO c (called the steel reinforcement) were divided into 4
groups according to the mechanical properties Study: CI, CII, CIII, CIV.
1.2. CI group steel is smooth round steel, CII steel, CIII, CIV steel, round steel with ribbed (ribbed). Each group of
reinforced steel CII, CIII, CIV must have the appearance in accordance with the provisions of this standard.
1.3. The nominal diameter of the reinforcing steel and its reference quantities must be consistent with the indications
in Table 1.
For example: conventional sign of reinforcing steel, CII group with diameter of 20mm is:

1.4. Deviation allows the diameter of th é p reinforced smooth round matching TCVN 1650: 1985. Round Hot Rolled
Steel.
1.5. Rebar Steel is a round steel bar with two longitudinal tendons and three screws. For steel bars with diameters
from 6 to 9mm, allow the edges to follow two screws.
The size and deviation of the rebar shall be in accordance with figures 1, 2 and 2 in this standard.

This standard does not regulate the size and deviation of the screwing screws on the steel plates bounded by
longitudinal veins.
At the locations of the screwed edges with the longitudinal veins, it is possible to increase the width of the edges
(calculated in nominal size b):
1mm - bars less than 10mm in diameter;
1.5mm - bars with diameters from 10mm to 32mm;
3mm - bar diameter from 36mm to 40mm.
1.6. Steel oval degree of reinforcement may not exceed the limit deviations according to diameter (total false
negative and false d u wer).
1.7. Group CII ribbed steel must have the same screwing screw on both sides (Figure 1).
CIII steel bars must have different screwing screws, one at the right side, and the other at the left side (Figure 2).
CIV core steel must have a different appearance than CII and CIII.
Note: During the mass production period, CIV steel bars with the appearance of CIII steel reinforcement can be
supplied but must be painted red from 30-40 cm.
1.8. Steel with a diameter of less than or equal to 12mm provided with rolls or rods larger than 12mm is provided
with rods of lengths from 6m to 12m; the conventional length or length convention with short dimensions specified in
the order in line h burp p with this standard.
When providing unconventional length steel bars, bars of not less than 3m in length and no more than 6m in length
with a quantity not exceeding 10% of the shipment volume are permitted.

Under the agreement, it is possible to provide steel bars up to 25m in length.
CIV steel bars are supplied with rods. CIII steel bars with diameters of 10 mm and larger are supplied with rods. The
standard deviation of the standard bar length shall not exceed:
+ 50mm - with a length of 6m;
+ 70mm - with a length of more than 6m.
The local curvature of the steel bar shall not exceed 6mm over 1m in length.
The overall curvature shall not exceed the local curvature tolerance of more than 1 meter in length with the length of
the bar measured in meters.
Technical requirements.
2.1. The mechanical properties of the reinforcing steel must be guaranteed: flow limit, instantaneous strength;
elongation t u wer to be determined by ph u wer trial pulling, bending in a cold state, the mechanical properties of
steel reinforcement in groups must be consistent with the provisions in Table 3.
2.2. CI group steel is made from carbon steel grades CT33-3; CT33a - 3; CT35s-3 and CCT33-2; CCT33a-3;
CCT33s -2 TCVN 1765: 1975, the steel grades are clearly stated in the order, the people choose steel for
processing.


2.3. CII steel bars with diameters from 10mm to 40mm are made from carbon steel grades CCT51-2 or CCT51a-2
according to TCVN 1765: 1975.
2.4. Steel CIII core diameter of 6 to 9mm is made from 25 Mn 2 Si, 35 MnSi and 18 Mn 2 Si steel, diameter from 10
to 40mm is made from 25 Mn 2 Si and 35 MnSi. Chemical composition of steel grades according to TCVN 3104:
1979.
The steel mark is specified in the order.
2.5. CIV steel bars with diameter from 10 to 18mm are made from 20 grade steel
CrMn2Zn. Chemical composition of steel grades according to TCVN 3104: 1979.
Steel grades are marked in the order.
2.6. On the surface of the reinforcing steel, including the surface of the ribs and edges should not have cracks,
holes, gutters, wrinkles. Do not allow tendons, edges, chipping, cracking. The break cancellation ribs, ridges, locally
quantities no larger than 3 seats per meter length of steel bar; small incisions, dents, voids, small hair follicles and
lesions within the limits of the discrepancy are not considered as defective.
2.7. Finished steel shall be inspected by the technical inspection department of the factory and must ensure that the
quality and size comply with the requirements of this standard.
3. Ph u wer testing methods, labeling and packaging
3.1. Quality control, methods of selecting samples, labeling, packaging and documentation must be in accordance
with the requirements of the current standards.
3.2. The finished steel bars must be delivered in batches, each consisting of steel rods of the same type, of the
same size. The volume of each lot is not more than 60 tons. The tonnage of the carbon tower can be increased to
the mass of the batch.
3.3. Two test specimens are required, two for cold bending from different bars of a shipment.
3.4. Drag tests shall comply with TCVN 197: 1996.
The cold bending test is carried out in accordance with TCVN 198: 1996.
3.5. The reinforcing steel bar diameter 6 - 32mm are trying to pull on the samples with surface face ch u a
machining.
Reinforced bars from 36mm to 40mm diameter are tested on the samples after the external. Allow reinforced bars of
diameter from 22mm to 32mm on the samples after the lathe. 

3.6. When trying to pull, cross-sectional area of reinforcing steel bar surface with ch u a process is determined by the
weight and length of the sample according to the formula:

Inside:
Q - The mass of the rebar, in g;
L - The length of the sample, in cm.
3.7. Steel bars shall be provided in bundles with a weight not exceeding 5 tonnes, bundled with at least 3 wires of
steel wire or steel strips. If provided in rolls, each roll not more than 450kg.
