Aircraft Tow Bars Cavotec Fladung tow bars are capable of towing aircraft from all major manufacturers.
They feature aircraft-specific adapters with overload protection and are highly
configurable regarding adapter interface, shock absorption, carriage size and tube
length.
ADAPTER
• Designed for specifi c aircraft type, more than 20 types available
• Lockable claws grip the aircraft nose gear Overload protection (for force and
torque) via shear pins
• Dimension of shear pins designed for maximum aircraft take off weight
• Security bolt keeps adapter and tube connected if shear pins break
STEEL TUBE
• Available in different lengths (3,150 mm, 4,400 mm and 6,585 mm)
Adapter A380 • Optionally made of aluminum instead of steel
• NATO-eye for tow truck connection
CARRIAGE
• Extendable via manually operated hydraulic pump
• Available in three different sizes
• Optional fl oating axle
• Solid rubber or pneumatic tires
• Tow bar well balanced, no need for counter wheels
