Explanation
First, the teacher teaches students a song related to nature and animals. Then, the teacher organizes a
memory game using the relevant vocabulary for practice. A Goanimate animation is shown for the students
who don’t remember the vocabulary and once the students are reminded of the words they are then asked to
describe the animals. Lesson continues with riddles that teacher asks and students are supposed to guess the
answers to the riddles. After this, teacher gives a tutorial about the group activity and forms groups. Students
make masks of the animals they choose in groups of 3. After making masks, students wear them and play
pantomime games such as imitating the animal sounds. Finally, teacher gives homework which is a worksheet
consisting of matching, fill in the blank and rearranging activities.
Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan
If the students are not willing to participate in the pantomime activity, the teacher her/himself will imitate the
animals for the students to name the animals.
