8 TENTATIVE ADMISSION PROCEDURE AT A GLANCE

The following definitions are reproduced for convenience:


Option-I candidates: Candidates who wish to be considered in the next round for all of their
higher preference choices (i.e. across institutes).
Option-II candidates: Candidates who wish to be considered in the next round for their higher
preference choices only within the Institute allotted to them.
Option-III candidates: Candidates who wish to finalise the seat allotted to them. (Their higher
preference choices, if any, will be ignored in subsequent rounds).

Note: 1. Initial fee is 35,000/- for OP and OBC and Rs. 25,000/- for SC and ST. OP / OBC
candidates shall bring one DD for Rs.1,000/- and the other for Rs. 34,000/- . SC/ST candidates
shall bring one DD for Rs.1,000/- and the other for Rs. 24,000/-. The demand drafts are to be
drawn in favour of “Chairman, CCB – 2010”, payable at Nagpur. This initial fee would be
adjusted towards the total fee payable by the candidates at the Allotted Institutes.
2. CCB reserves the right to conduct further admission rounds or drop the rounds, as
per the situation. Additional rounds will be held after arriving at the vacancies by conducting
internal sliding amongst those candidates who have joined institutes. This internal sliding may
lead to change of branch of some candidates. These further rounds, if conducted, will be
associated with appropriate refund rules for those who cancelled their allotted seats.
