CHAPTER 1

Background of the Narrative Report

Introduction

The most effective method to develop the complete skills of the students is through
hands on training or the on-the-job training. This process exposes the students to the
different fields of learning. Moreover, it allows the students to become familiar and made
know actual operation of the business and state-of-the-art of the facilities, equipment and
technology used.

The goal of the OJT program is to place participants in occupations that will enhance their
prospects for long term employment and will ultimately permit them to become self-sufficient. OJT
involves the acquisition to specific skills and employment competencies, through exposure in the
actual work setting to the process, works tasks, tools and method of specific job or group of jobs.

We trainees can bring fresh ideas into the organization. Given the opportunity to
converse our minds freely and without fear, we may be able to contribute significantly in
brainstorming sessions or research and eventually help improve the organizations
productivity. While training the interns, employers are in fact also teach their employees
to guide the trainees by stretching their patience, develop teaching skills and make them
more sensitive to the needs and mind set of the younger generations.

personality, especially the performance of my assigned tasks.
