4. Areas of presentation may include but not limited to, language they learnt in
the host university, culture lifestyle in cuisine and places of attraction in the
host country.
Project (60%)
Part A: Individual Daily Journal (30%)
1. Upon arrival in the host university, students will write a daily journal entry
until returning to home university.
2. The journal entry is an on-going record of what they have learnt. It should
include:
a. Their experience
b. Self-reflection

Font type: Times New Roman
Font size : 12
Line spacing : 2
Alignment : Justify (top, bottom, left and right margin set as 1”)
Page number: right, bottom
1. Students would form groups (3 – 5 people) before the study tour to work on a
video journal.
2. A short video during the tour would be made and presented to show the
highlights of the tour.
3. The video has to include all the group members during the tour and it needs to
be creative.
4. The video should be a compilation of short video clips but not slide show of
photographs.
3. The interview would be about the different cultures and lifestyles of the home
country of the international student. It would help to exchange valuable
knowledge and create better understanding on customs, values and beliefs
around the world.
4. The assignment would be at least five (5) pages per interviewee (minimum 1
picture of the person interviewed to be included).
