Summary
Sınce this is the first week of the class the lesson will be teacher-centered and the interactions will be initiated by the teacher. S/he
will come into class and start a brief greeting with the students. After the brief conversation and greetings, the teacher will tell the
students about the topic of the day and explain how the lesson will progress. S/he will start the lesson by putting up the Prezi
presentation. In the presentation the teacher will firstly show the numbers and their written forms and the students will repeat
each of them after the teacher. Secondly, the teacher will show some pictures of classroom objects in the presentation and count
them in front of the students so that they can understand which object is which and how many of them are there. Next, the
teacher will close the presentation and bring out the actual classroom objects. S/he will ask the students one by one the name of
the object and its quantity. If the student answers correctly s/he will get to be the one to ask another student the same questions.
This will give the students a better understanding of the numbers and improve their pronunciation while making the lesson fun by
playing a little game with their peers. At the end of the lesson the teacher and the students will sing some songs about the
numbers they had just covered. This will also give way to better pronunciation and end the lesson in a fun, light-hearted way.
Lastly, the teacher will give homework and ask the students if they have any questions regarding their topic.

Performance the students’ learning by seeing if they can or cannot answer the
questions at the end of the lesson. The teacher will also observe
pronunciation.
Measurement & Assessment Activities for Group

go with the taught ones) and write them on a paper with their
quantities for the next lesson.

Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan

While learning the numbers and the classroom objects, if there is any problem with a student’s understanding or pronunciation
the teacher will help the student and go over the said number or object with the whole class. If there is any problem regarding the
student participation, if the students don’t like the game or the songs the teacher will get the students’ ideas and change the
game and the songs according to the demands of the majority. If anything goes wrong with the Prezi presentation, the teacher
will use pictorial books or videos instead.
