Good Morning, Everyone – and welcome to or welcome back to WCT Repertory Theatre!!

We had a great turnout again this year and have, once again, a really powerful cast for Picasso
at the Lapin Agile. For those of you new to WCT Repertory Theatre – welcome. It has always
been my intention and hope that WCT becomes a warm and welcoming community in the arts
– and nowhere is that more apparent than in Repertory. Our Repertory functions as most
professional Repertory theatre companies. Once you are a member, you are always a part of
the Rep. All members audition each year for each production and the actors fulfill many roles
within the operation of the theatre as needed. Basically, everyone pitches in. This is very
different from the summer musical theatre where everyone who auditions is automatically in
the show, and we have many large crews working behind the scenes. You all were wonderful
and Wallingford has a really great production to look forward to this Spring.

Thursday evening, we will have a read-through of the script. Next Tuesday we will go over the
blocking for the entire show. This production is designed without an intermission and we will
perform as such. There is tremendous energy and timing involved in this production which will
need to be sustained for the duration of the performance.

Here is the casting of the show. Many of you could have played many other parts, but this is
what we feel will provide the strongest, most cohesive cast, with the best synergy. Please let
me know if you accept your part asap.

Congrats – and thanks for your support and participation in WCT Repertory Theatre!
