Binary Alarms Output

The binary alarms are potential-free relay contacts. The outputs are configured
as described in document PBC 6200 Software Manual. Maximum electrical
rating for each output is 150 mA/60 V DC.

Binary alarms/outputs
The power system includes a set of binary alarm outputs that will generate an
alarm in case of system malfunctioning as well as in case of any system
malfunctioning or manual interference, issue an alarm. Such alarms are
connected to an External Alarms Input sub-system, typically included in a radio
base station system, for further reporting to an Operations and Maintenance
Center.
Six of the seven binary alarms/outputs are customer configurable. Their default
definitions are:
• Major alarm
• Minor alarm
• DC voltage out-of-range
• Low-voltage disconnection contactor failure
• Start/Stop, Generator # 1
• Start/Stop, Generator # 2
Non-configurable alarm: Climate System Unit (CSU) failure
