Objectives: Objectives:
 use the different text wrapping options in integrating images and external materials  familiarize the most commonly used functions in Microsoft Excel;
in word processors.  use several conditional functions available in Microsoft Excel; and
 use Microsoft Excel as a viable tool in market research and product development

Ask the students the process hyperlinking in presentation. Ask the learners if they have used a spreadsheet. Did they have difficulty in doing it?
Present different designs and art works then solicit their ideas on how to create such designs. Directions:
Form groups with 5 members each. Each group will try to come up with a food product that
they can sell or offer around the campus.

You will add a personal twist to your product. Add something that you think could be
marketable. Example, you may add malunggay to polvoron.

using Microsoft Excel.
Demonstrate the different Microsoft Excel formulas to accomplish the task.
Show a video about different conditional formatting on Microsoft excel for better presentation
of data.
Enumerate daily life situations where conditional formatting and MS Excel formulas would be a
great help.
Summarize the syntax on how to use the different formulas and steps on applying conditional
formatting in MS Excel.
With relation to the current activity, accomplish the following by analyzing your data.
1. Determine the number of people who are willing to pay a certain amount.
 2. How many of the certain group (e.g. teacher/student) are willing to pay PHP 16-25?
3. How many of the certain group (e.g. teacher/student) rated the presentation of the
product 3 and above?

J. Additional activities for application Try the activity anywhere you can access MS Excel and repeat the procedure using your own
or remediation data.
