Story is told of a lawyer

In the book of Galatians Paul puts it this way …

(paraphrase). “But when the fullness of time was come, God
sent a deposit through the HS by Mary. Told Him to put in
the bank of glory on my behalf. His name was Jesus, that
little bundle of a check, wrapped up in a manger in
Bethlehem in my account. (listening).
God sent all that He could give me wrapped up in that
tiny little baby called Jesus.
He sent all His love. “For God so loved …”
Love: a powerful sweet word. Yet the most misunderstood
word …
When a guy tells a girl, “I love you, watch the motive… Is
it a love that would respect you…”
“If you love me prove it …” Some women when they say
no, they mean yes.
Go to the softball game or a sporting game... eventhough
she has no interest in the game.
Some girls when they hook up with their boyfriends they
forget their friends.
Some girls when they’re in love they would even get a
tattoo with his name on it. And sometimes the tattoo last
longer than the relationship.
When a girl is in loves her man, she would squeeze into
size 0 just to hear him say …
In this little bundle was all the love, -- - life, -- - power, --
- riches. -- - was everything tied up in Jesus.
And so Jesus lived and ministered among us. Then one
day He gave Himself on Calvary for us. Thus ensuring the
deposit -- - securing that check which will be made in my
behalf.

But then over 1900 years later, through the ministry of
the HS, I read about another story of Michael, leading
mankind. (Michael, is another name for Jesus Christ).
And in this story 1900 years later, I see a poor struggling
man on the roadside of life’s history, maybe somewhere in
the Eastern side of Anguilla, maybe somewhere where you
are begging like George, ragged and torn spiritually.
Somehow Jesus comes by and He recognizes you. That’s
something I love about Jesus. He is not like some of us . . .
once we’ve made it we forget where we come from and who
our friends are.
But thank the Lord that Jesus, when He sees us in that
state He recognizes us.
You were born for a purpose. -- - make a difference …
No two persons are alike …

A time to be grateful – Story of Pastor visited sick man

John 1:1, 2. "In the beginning was the Word, and the
word was with God, and the word was God". He was God in
the beginning. In the Beginning was the word.
In Colossians 1:17 Paul says, "He was before all things".
He is the beginning.
And even in calling Him the beginning we err. For in a
very real sense, He is the beginning in whom the beginning
began. He is the beginning before the beginning was begun.
He is the beginning who did not begin to be. He did not
become for He always has been. He did not become for He
always is. And what He was and is, He always will be.

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and

the government shall be upon his shoulder:

You know, during this Christmas season some of us we
are staking our peace and security in man. Some of us are
already thinking about election time. Some of us are
thinking if my party wins I’m gonna be fixed. Shame on
you! Because there is not w here your peace lies. Yes you
can have your preference but your peace is not there.
Isaiah says, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is
given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and
his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty
God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
Not you, not the government, it is Jesus.
He is wonderful. No other way to describe Him. There has
never been anyone like Jesus.
Oh praise God. Anybody else will fail you. Your best friend
will fail you, your parents -- -. Your husband, your wife -- -.
Church members -- -. As much as people love you they will
fail you.
But oh thank you Jesus, there is one … who will never fail
you, and His name is Jesus. He’s wonderful, counselor.
Sometimes you get advice from the best intention person
but you get the wrong advice. We counsel with this one and
that one, we give them our story, “so tell me what you
think?” It isn’t what you think..
You see, too often we go through life making decisions on
what we think, and use human reasoning. But human
reasoning can’t do. We need divine wisdom. We need the
mighty counselor. We need to hook up and tied up and
tangle up with the chief counselor who can’t ever fail. It is
Jesus.
The angels said, He’s born, He’s available.
Earthly wisdom not only fails, not only is available some
time when you need, when you get it, it isn’t right.

Oh but thank God, Isaiah says, this child that is born is
the mighty God. Just when I need Him Jesus is there.
You’re having this problem; the doctors can’t solve it.
Your friends the politicians can’t solve it. You need to know
that there is a mighty God.
You might have a sickness, the diagnosis is grim, because
the doctors are baffled. Hey, but thank God there is a
mighty God.
And He is mighty in every aspect of life. He is mighty
whenever we need Him.
A mighty God. It was that mighty God, omnipotent,
transcendent, that humbled Himself, took on the form of a
baby, helpless, innocent. (He was innocent), Put Himself at
the mercy of a frail human being. Conceived in the womb of
Mary. But He was older than His mother. She gave birth to
Him, but He gave life to her. That’s the God that we are
talking about.
The mighty God, angels adore Him. They bow down
before Him. Yet He left all of that in heaven. Came to be a
helpless babe, born in a manger.
Yes, some of us came from low down. But Jesus went
there so He could identify with you and me.

No matter how high you think you are. Sometimes we in

position we get high and lifted up, sometimes we are
prospering and we feel we are something special. It is only
for a season.

That’s the everlasting God. And if there is darkness in

your life, if there is confusion in your life. Like He brought
order out of confusion in the beginning, He is ready to do it

again. That’s why He was born. The everlasting Father, Oh
yes the prince of Peace.
