Programme outcomes for Diploma Chemical Engineering

Diploma chemical engineering program has following outcomes

1. Ability to apply basic knowledge of mathematics, chemistry, physical sciences, and

engineering.

2. Ability to design and conduct experiments, quality control tests as well as to analyze and

interpret data.

3. Ability to operate chemical process plant to meet desired production within realistic

constrains such as economic, environmental, social, ethical, health and safety.

4. Ability to apply fundamental and practical knowledge of material science, chemistry, unit

operations and unit processes for providing better services to chemical process industries.

5. Ability to function individually and in multi-disciplinary teams to implement a chemical

engineering project.

6. Ability to identify, formulate and solve chemical engineering problems.

7. Expected to have understanding of professional and ethical responsibility.

8. Ability to acquire and use knowledge of modern techniques and skills for chemical

engineering practice.

9. Ability to learn through completion of training courses, workshop, seminar and/or

graduate study for professional development.
