exclusion and long-term unemployment through local engagement and partnership between disadvantaged individuals, community
organisations and public sector agencies.

Healthy Ireland Fund

This is a Department of Health Initiative. The aim of the fund is to support innovative, cross-sectoral, evidence based projects and
initiatives that support the implementation of key national policies in areas such as obesity, smoking, alcohol, physical activity and
sexual health. Cavan County Council through their LCDC has been approved €100,000 from Pobal Funding for this initiative.
