WAP Settings
1. Go to MenuToolsSettingsConnectionAccess pointsOptionsNew Access pointUse default setting. Enter details for the following
parameters.
Homepage: http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.asp
Press Options then select Advance settings. Enter details for the following parameters:
Network type: Ipv4
Proxy serv. address: 203.177.42.214
Proxy Port number: 8080
2. Go back to the main menu, select Web, press Options then Settings. Choose myGlobe GPRS as the default access point .

Email Settings

Mailbox name: Your ISP/Email’s name
Access Point in use : select myGlobe INTERNET
Email address : your email address
Outgoing mail server : mail.globenet.com.ph
Send message : Immediately
Username : your isp username or email address(if applicable)
Password : your isp password for your email
Incoming mail server : your ISP’s incoming mail server
Mailbox type: POP3
Security (ports) : Off
PC configuration
1. Install software (PC suite & cable driver). NOTE: When using infrared connection on Windows 2000 & XP, infrared driver will be installed
automatically (plug & play).
2. Create a dialer.
From the Start Menu, select Programs>Accessories>Communications>Dial-up networking .
Double click the Make new connection icon.
Enter name under the Type a name… .
At the Select a device slide, select the modem driver.
Click next. At the telephone number enter *99***#. Click Next then Finish.
Right click the dialer then select Properties. Unclick the Use area code and dialing properties or the Dialing rule.
To start browsing, double click the dialer and click Connect.
1. You can get PC suite from the CD that came with the package of your handset or you can download it at: www.nokia.com
(latest version recommended)
2. Connect Nokia Handset to Computer (either via USB Cable, Infrared or Bluetooth)
a. Check the user manual or the nokia website for connectivity options of your handheld
b. Check computer for connectivity options as well (USB, Infrared and Bluetooth)
3. On your Phone go to Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Packet Data > Packet Data Settings > Edit Active Access
Poiunt > Packet Data Access Point > Provide http.globe.com.ph for PREPAID or internet.globe.com.ph for
POSTPAID.
4. Launch Nokia PC suite then select “connect to the internet”
8. Click on “Connect”
