Final Assessment

For their final summative assessment in this unit, students will be asked to make a book
demonstrating everything they have learned about plants and seeds during the unit. Each
student will be given a small book with blank paper inside and asked to incorporate elements
that the class agrees on as being essential to understanding plants and seeds.

Formative assessment will be taken throughout the entire unit until the point of the creation of the Plants and
Seeds book as the final assessment. Students will be observed in how they communicate with their peers, engage
with their materials, ask questions, and apply information that they have gained.
