Jakarta Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) head Yani Wahyu Purwoko said he was ready

to fulfill the summons in relation assault accusations against him, after being
reported for allegedly physically abusing a subordinate.

��I am a lawful person. I will come [to the questioning],�� said Yani to kompas.com
on Tuesday.

A Satpol PP personnel member, Wasnadi, reported Yani to the Jakarta Police for
alleged assault, which resulted in bruises on his face and body. The assault
allegedly occurred on Jan. 14 at the agency's office in Central Jakarta.

Yani said he was sure that what he did was not physical abuse and should be
considered normal.

��Let him report me [to the police]. Many people witnessed [what happened]. Many
staff members saw the incident,�� he said.

Wasnadi told the police that he was assaulted after being accused of leaking an
investigation report on an advertisement to another party.

Jakarta Police spokesperson Sr. Comr. Argo Yuwono said the investigators would
interrogate people related to the case.

However, Argo has not clarified when Yani is scheduled for questioning. Jakarta
