Carbon resistors are a cheap general purpose resistor used in electrical and
electronic circuits. Their resistive element is manufactured from a mixture of finely
ground carbon dust or graphite (similar to pencil lead) and a non-conducting
ceramic (clay) powder to bind it all together.
RESISTOR-SINGLE BAND
Zero ohm resistors are made as lengths of wire wrapped in a resistor-shaped body
which can be substituted for another resistor value in automatic insertion
equipment. They are marked with a single black band.
RESISTOR-CERAMIC TYPE
Engineers and technicians, define ceramic resistors as those that use ceramics to
control a resistor’s resistive value.Ceramics are a very common internal component
of many different types of resistors. In a carbon film or resistive wire resistor, the
resistive material adheres to the outside of a ceramic core, usually in the shape of a
cylinder. These cores provide a non-conductive base to hold the conductive
components of the resistor in place, and give the resistor its general shape and size.

CAPACITOR-MYLAR TYPE
Mylar capacitors have low levels of moisture absorption. They are used on
semicritical circuits with maximum voltage loads of 60,000 volts of direct current.
CAPACITOR-ELECTROLYTIC
TYPE
Like other conventional capacitors, electrolytic capacitors store the electric
energy statically by charge separation in an electric field in the dielectric oxide
layer between two electrodes. The non-solid or solid electrolyte in principle is the
cathode, which thus forms the second electrode of the capacitor

DIGITAL MULTITESTER
A digital multitester (DMM) is a test tool used to measure two or more electrical
values—principally voltage (volts), current (amps) and resistance (ohms). It is a
standard diagnostic tool for technicians in the electrical/electronic industries.
BREADBOARD
A breadboard is a device used as a construction base in developing an electronic
circuit. Breadboards can be solderless, which allows them to be reusable. A
solderless breadboard is made of plastic and perforated with numerous holes.
