Security Roles 1
This white paper demonstrates easy ways to personalize notifications in Release 12 Oracle Fusion Performance
Management.
Deep Links
Oracle HCM Cloud supports certain links that provide direct access to specific tasks through single sign-on (SSO),
simplifying the navigation experience. Anyone can copy the deep link URL to create a fast path to the respective
page from corporate portals or email notifications. Access control is restricted by security roles and privileges.
Without SSO, you must sign on from Oracle Applications Cloud.
Deep links that are prefixed with MANAGER are secured with privileges assigned to the seeded Line Manager role.
Those prefixed with HR are secured with privileges assigned to the seeded HR Specialist role. Those prefixed with
SETUP are secured with privileges assigned to the seeded Human Capital Management Application Administrator
role.
Security Roles
The function privilege ‘View Administration Link’ (FND_VIEW_ADMIN_LINK_PRIV) enables the Deep Link menu
item in the Navigator.
The delivered Human Capital Management Application Administrator role includes both function security privileges.
