II. QUALIFICATION :

(i) Master degree in relevant subject of
Humanities with first class or equivalent, at
Bachelor or Master Level from any recognized
Indian University.
(ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualification, the
candidate must have cleared the National
Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC,
CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like
Humanities SLET/SET.
(Economics) (iii) Notwithstanding anything contained in
sub-clauses (i) and (ii) to this clause; a
candidate, who has a Ph.D. Degree awarded
Asstt. before 2009, or has been awarded a Ph.D.
Professor Degree after 2009 in accordance with the
University Grants Commission (Minimum
Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D.
Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted
from the requirement of the minimum
eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for
recruitment and appointment as Assistant
Professor.
Note : If suitable candidates fulfilling the above
qualification requirement are not found, candidate
having the qualification as in (i) above may be
considered for appointment at consolidated salary
of Rs. 25,000/- p.m.

III. GENERAL INFORMATION


1. The names of the Departments for which vacancies exist for the Contract Faculty (Asstt.
Professor), alongwith the Date of Interview for the respective department, are given in
Section I : SCHEDULE OF INTERVIEWS.

2. All eligible candidates are required to appear for the Interview as per this schedule.
No separate Call Letters will be sent for attending the Interview.

Only the candidates who have passed the qualifying degree (besides fulfilling other
qualification norms), are eligible. The candidates who are in the Final Year/Final Sem. of
their qualifying degree will be considered eligible only if they pass the qualifying degree and
produce the marksheet/provisional degree on the date of Interview; otherwise they will not be
considered eligible and will not be allowed to appear in the Interview.

3. Qualification for various programs/disciplines shall be as per AICTE norms, as given in


Section –II : QUALIFICAITON

4. The candidates who have obtained qualifying degree - UG/PG/Ph.D. from Institutions
approved by AICTE/UGC/PCI as per rule shall only be considered for appointment.

5. The consolidated Salary will be Rs. 30,000/- P. M. Any other benefit may be extended subject
to approval from the competent authority.

6. Higher consolidated salary may be considered for deserving candidates having higher
qualification/experience, subject to approval from competent authority.
7. Amendments, if any, regarding this advertisement will be hosted on the Institute Website
only. The candidates are advised to visit the website regularly.

IV. GUIDELINES FOR FILLING UP THE APPLICATION FORM


1. Fill in the online application form complete in all respect, upload the self-attested scanned
copies of all the required documents and deposit the application fee of Rs. 700/-
(Rs.400/- for SC/ST candidates of M.P. domicile) online, latest by 26/12/2017.

2. In case a candidate wants to apply for more than one department he/she has to deposit the
application fee for each department separately, however, he/she has to fill up the application
form only once.

3. While filling the degree % and Division in the table at point no. 11 of the Application Form,
consider the following :
(i) Write the degree marks in % only as given in your final yr. marksheet /degree or as
obtained after converting the CGPA to % as per the conversion rule followed by your
University / Institute, stated in your marksheet. However, if no conversion rules is
given by your University / Institute, the CGPA will be converted into equivalent marks
as below :

Convert the CGPA obtained according to above given conversion of CGPA to
equivalent % [which has been arrived at by using the following conversion formula:
% of marks = (10 x CGPA) – 7.5]

(ii) If a class/division is not awarded, minimum of 60% marks in aggregate shall be


considered equivalent to First Class/Division. Fill in the Division accordingly.

4. While filling up the information at point no. 18 of the Application Form, the particulars of the
employment and experience, consider the following:
(i) For teaching experience, only the experience of teaching as Full Time Faculty in
degree level Technical Institute/Pharmacy/Management/Science Institute, as the
case may be, should be mentioned. For industrial and other experience, only the
relevant experience should be mentioned.
(ii) Experience is to be written in “Years” only.

6. At any stage of application form filling, you can SAVE the form and resume the filling up of
the form after logging-in again. After filling up the form completely and uploading all the
necessary documents, deposit the prescribed application fee and SUBMIT the form. After
finally submitting the form you will not be able to edit any information / upload any
document.

The Application Form incomplete in any respect is liable to be rejected.

7. You are advised to take printouts of the submitted Application Form, paste the photograph and
bring the same along with all original documents, at the time of Interview.
