­ Tacky and soft - May emit toxic fumes in fire; carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide
­ Odor = reclaimed rubber o Thermal decomposition in the presence of air may yield carbon monoxide or carbon dioxide
­ black color
­ BP = N/A
­ MP = N/A
­ Flash point = N/A
­ Insoluble in cold and hot water
­ Partially soluble in acetone
­ Decompose above 200°C
