great last semester of high school! As you approach graduation and
the light at the end of the tunnel, continue to consider who YOU are in The Importance of Being Ernest,
the world and how exploring literature can help you understand the Oscar Wilde
world around you!

Course Overview
Senior English addresses the overarching question: Who am I in the
global community? By introducing students to multi-cultural literature,
students develop a unique and personal understanding of the world
around them. Senior English seeks to expose students to a larger view
of the world both past and present, so that they may make intuitive The Stranger, Albert Camus
and informed individual decisions as they journey into adulthood.

Expectations
Two basic rules govern public behaviors in classroom situations

1. Respect 2. Cooperation

Disruption of class activities should not occur; harassment of any kind is

not tolerated. Minor infractions of class or school rules will be discussed
between the student and teacher and parent if needed. Major The Catcher in the Rye, J.D. Salinger
infractions will be referred to administration in accordance with the
student handbook.

Cell Phones! They will be put away from bell to bell.
