 Contract Agreement
THIS AGREEMENT made the 12 day of Baisakh 2073 between Mohan Maharjan (hereinafter
“the Employer”), of the one part, and Paachali Bhairab and Manakamana Nirman Sewa (P) Ltd.
(hereinafter “the Contractor”), of the other part:

WHEREAS the Employer desires that the Works known as Retrofitting of the Seven Storey building
with basement should be executed by the Contractor, and has accepted a Offer by the Contractor for
the execution and completion of these Works and the remedying of any defects in the lumpsum
amount of NRs 5,000,000.00[FiftyLakh only including taxes] (hereinafter “the Contract Price”).

The Employer and the Contractor agree as follows:

1. Scope of Works:
Epoxy injection on cracked columns
Column Jacketing of thickness 3”
Brickwork-Dismentaled 3’ on either side of column
Basement Shear Wall construction
Plastering

3. In consideration of the payments to be made by the Employer to the Contractor, following payment
basis shall be followed.
 Twenty (20) percent of the Contract Price shall be paid as Mobilization Payment.
 Twenty (20) percent of the Contract Price shall be paid after the finish of ground floor works.
 Twenty (20) percent of the Contract Price shall be paid after the finish of first floor works.
 Twenty (20) percent of the Contract Price shall be paid after the finish of second floor works.
 Twenty (20) percent of the Contract Price amount shall be after completion of all works under the
approval of the Engineer.
4. All the payments shall be issued by the Employer to the Contractor under the approval of the
Engineer.

IN WITNESS whereof the parties hereto have caused this Agreement to be executed in accordance
with the laws of Nepal on the day, month and year indicated above.
