KKC Group | New Concepts of Pop Music

New Concepts of Pop Music is the debut álbum of the Argentinian guitarist and composer Ignacio M. Cacace.
Seven original compositions shape the álbum recorded on Late January 2014 at Tedesco Studios,New Jersey
and released by the catalàn label BCN Jazz Collective.. Entirely made from ¨first takes¨,the álbum sounds really
spontaneous and reflects the musical imaginarium of Ignacio,crossed from Jazz,Academical Music,Tango and
Pop among other genres. Dreams,experiences all around the globe and a continuous research on the jazz
tradition were the inspirations for composing the tracks of the album. Ignacio’s group is formed by musicians
from diferent countries but all residents in NYC. Gianni Gagliardi from Barcelona on tenor sax,Larks Ekman
from Sweden on Double Bass and Jesse Simpson from the U.S on Drums.

Ignacio M. Cacace was born in La Plata City,Buenos Aires,Argentina in 1982. At the age of 4 he started to play
drums then shifting to the guitar and the piano too. He graduated at EMU School (Member of the International
Association of Schools of Jazz) in Argentina and got a master degree at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
During his periodic trips to NYC he studied with great masters like Guillermo Klein,Aaron Goldberg,Mark
Turner,Michael Kanan and Bill Mchenry among others. Actually Ignacio leads the KKC Group and the KKC
Standards Trio.
Recently Ignacio received a mention as Newcomer Argentinian Jazz Musician of 2016 from the most important jazz website in
Argentina called El Intruso. And as Argentjazz.com said: ¨¨Ignacio Cacace is a lyrical and a restless guitarist and
composer. Part of a young talented generation of jazz musicians who shows that Argentinian Jazz is in the best
shape¨.
