Mott MacDonald is currently seeking energetic and enthusiastic Senior Project Engineers / Project
Managers interested in delivering large-scale public and private infrastructure engineering projects in
a dynamic work environment. This position would be attractive to those looking for a career in
consulting engineering focusing on Civil Engineering in the Infrastructure and Transportation sectors
having a particular interest within a transit, rail and civil structures context.

Opportunities exist to manage and support a range of small to large projects within our Vancouver,
Toronto and Calgary offices. The role will be challenging, demanding, varied and offer opportunities
for skill set and career development. As a Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager, working as an
integral part of Mott MacDonald Canada, your duties will include but not be limited to:

Planning, organizing, and working with technical groups in the delivery of project requirements.

Project management and coordination of linear infrastructure engineering projects.

Project coordination on complex, multi-disciplinary projects.

Preparation of technical specifications and design reports.

Preparation of construction cost estimates.

Providing support to business development and strategic initiatives, including preparation and the
leading of proposals.

Developing new and maintaining existing client relationships.

Mentoring and development of technical staff.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

Graduate from a recognized and accredited University in Civil Engineering.

P.Eng. registered in Alberta, BC and/or Ontario or eligible for professional registration in the
respective provinces.

8-12 years of experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering a variety of linear
infrastructure transportation projects.

Proficient in the use of typical office packages such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, MS Project and
other comparable such programs including the desire to utilize the full capabilities of Office365.
Excellent communicator and skilled problem-solver with a commitment to thrive in a proactive
organization where client service is paramount.

Ensure projects are funded and controlled and meet required performance, safety and business
standards.

Business development experience would be considered an asset, including a d emonstrated interest

in the development and maintenance of client relations.
Ability to meet demanding schedules and adaptability to changing priorities is a valuable asset.
